2019 Club Development Coaching Course
About
Squash SA Development Manager and 2018 National Junior Coach James Rogers is the Coach Tutor for the 2019 Club Development Coaching Course (formerly level 1).
This course will cover new World Squash Federation content on the Saturday plus the best parts of the old Club Development coaching course on Sunday morning before candidates are assessed on the Sunday afternoon.
Current Club Development coaches that have not attended a WSF level 1 course are invited to join in with new coaches on Saturday to gain WSF accreditation (providing they pay the online fees) to WSF.
The WSF level 1 course offers a dynamic new approach to squash coaching that has not previously been delivered under the old framework.
This coach is competent to plan, conduct and evaluate training programs suitable for the diverse range of ages and abilities found among registered Club or Centre players. A Club Development Coach must plan and supervise training to best prepare players of different ages, abilities and competition goals to achieve their potential. All Club Development Coaches should have the skills to prepare players for Club/Centre, District and State level competitions.
Club Development is the accepted Australian standard for coaches implementing a diverse Squash Club/Centre program.
If less than 4 participants register for the course by January 25 it will be postponed and full refunds will be issued.
