The Boland continues to set the standard for tournament organization, from providing transparent reasoning behind decisions, through clear & continuous communication to remaining flexible around changes of direction.
I appreciated the physical split at the courts [seniors at the front, juniors at the back] & the use of a Director in each section. Would like to see a Marshall for each court, responsible for finding players, starting on time, organizing markers etc.
Finally, two recommendations:
1. Generators are non-negotiable & should form part of your venue selection process; alternatively, add a levy to the entry fee for generators
2. Bags should be banned from all viewing areas; provide an out of the way "bag area" to prevent cluttering dreducing the viewing options
