Way to go tonight! I hope you all had fun! 

Here are some things in no particular order whatsoever:

 

There is a spares list so use it if you need. 

 

Come up with a cool team name! And tell me it so I can change it.

 

Ideas: get themed profile pictures on SportyHQ, get matching uniforms or bandanas, pink laces? , sleeveless? , make a fun team cheer, make up a team ritual (shot of whiskey?)

 

From now on use the ScoreSquash app.  Use it every time. Ask your captain if you need help.

 

I added players and now every team has 5 players. Captains, you can change peoples’ positions. Which makes me add - challenge matches are completely expected if you feel you are put at the wrong position.

 

Don’t forget the $20 worth per team contribution which will go to the winning team! Bring to me and keep it a secret - more fun that way! Deadline is semi finals, 6 weeks from now but don’t be a slacker and get on it!

 

After matches we typically go for a greasy burger and beer upstairs or at Social. Traditions are nice. 

If you want to play with a new ball, bring a new ball. Sorry, league is running on a tight budget ($0)

 

Playoffs will start on week 6 schedule to come. All teams play each night - even if you get knocked out.

We have 2 Pickleball courts booked each week now if we want to warm up a different way!

 

The league is a success if you have fun and get some competitive matches in! I hope that is what you all are in for!
